Chord pads play full chords in key. Start from a chord set, find the progression, then write the words on the SONGWRITING page with the beat running.

Drag one finger and the whole beat moves. The XY pad puts your effects under your thumb: filter sweeps, stutters, gates, echo throws, drive and crush, all on one surface, all in time.
- XY FX, full screen. Each axis is an effect. Slide into a filter sweep, tap into a stutter, hold still to lock it in. The attack and release curves decide how hard it hits and how smooth it lets go.
- XY REPEAT. Note repeat on the pad: rolls, rates and feel under one finger, so hi-hats and fills come out played, not programmed.
- Any channel. Point it at the drums, one sound, an audio track, a return or the master.
- It records. Every move lands as automation, so the take you performed is the take in the song. Edit it later like any other lane.
- One tap back. Let go and it springs home. Double tap any knob to reset it.
